Serial ATA (SATA) With a bandwidth of 1.5 Gbps & an interface transfer rate of up to 150 MB/s, SATA is up to three times faster than USB 2.0 and FireWire. SATA PCI Card Provides connections & power for 1 external and 1 internal SATA drive. 2 independent SATA channels means each drive gets the full 1.5 Gbps bandwidth. RAID Level 0 & 1 Support Take advantage of RAID 0 (striping) for even faster access times or RAID 1 (duplexing) for increased data security. CPU-Independent Transfers With DMA (Direct Memory Access) transfers between SATA Drives do not tie up CPU resources. RAID Manager Software Windows users can set up and manage a RAID volume with the included software. Mac users can use the RAID tools built into the Mac OS.
