These connections look like a square hole (with the corners removed) in your equipment (there are sometimes protective dust caps installed by the manufacturer that have to be removed). The optical digital output jack in your equipment will usually have a red light inside it. The optical digital input jack will look like the output jack, but without the red light. Suitable for General Digital Audio Applications.
